We got a new recipe from a neighbor for Mussels,I told him I'd try it so we popped into Stater Brothers in Laguna Hills to pick up some. This store is one of my favorites and it didn't disappoint today. Very impressive when you enter by the large deli freshly made sushi caught my eye. The combined deli case and bakery probably 100' long is very impressive friendly staff is ready to help. The grocery department is always clean and well stocked all the isles were pulled down like it just opened. All the produce looked fresh and chilled.it was impressive. The liquor department is massive all your favorite spirts wines and brews are there. The open counter meat department runs along the back center of store it's my favorite all the cuts friendly butchers great selection of fish. The mussels I thought would be in with the shrimp I asked one of the butchers and to my surprise they didn't sell them fresh or frozen, that was hard to believe it looked like they had everything else. That was ok with me. We picked up a few other items and were checked out by friendly employees this store is a pleasure to shop at and we'll be back Mussels really didn't sound so good anyway.
